Poem Competition

 I felt worried before saying my poem to the class because I felt like I wasn't ready.

I felt calm after saying my poem to the class because it wan't that scary after all.

I think I was awesome at reciting my poem because I was brave!

Art

 My favourite step of doing this artwork was painting the tree. I love my artwork because it has beautiful colours.

Persuasive Writing

We are learning to write a persuasive piece of the reader our opinion. I can come up with reasons why you should buy this broken toy. It was tricky to come up with reasons because its hard to persuade someone who does not want the toy.

 

Nga Tae

We are learning to communicate about physical characteristics in Te Reo Maori. I can identify some Maori colours. I enjoyed learning about Maori colours because its something new to learn!

Narrative Writing

 


I was learning to describe the setting. I can use descriptive words to describe the setting. It was easy because it had lots of details.

Instruction Writing

I was learning to write instructions. I can write my instructions in the right order. I can use a variety of verbs in my instructions. I like my Monster Soup recipe because it has strange things like rocks and stuff.

Feelings Art

This term we have been leaning all about emotions.We watched the movie Inside Out.We did some artwork about feelings and the characters from the movie. I love my artwork because it was kind of funny.

Sea Week Art

I was learning to blend colours using paint. My favourite part of doing  this art work was blending the jelly fish. I love this artwork because I love art.

Swimming

My favourite part of our swimming lesson is backstroke. I find it tricky to do scissor kick. I love swimming because I can swim with my friends.
